+LOK - Cheer up, Avatar!

"Come on. What's wrong? You can tell us." After finding the Avatar, Mako relaxed a little. It was good to know she hadn't been kidnapped by Equalists, considering the recent attempts on such a thing. Seeing her so distraught, however, worried him enough to show concern.

"How am I supposed to save this city when I can't even learn airbending? I'm the worst Avatar ever! I just feel... alone." Korra sighed, staring at her hands. She could bend fire, earth, and water with such ease, and yet, air eluded her. It was a pain! She just wanted to master airbending already, and then go kick some Equalist butt! No more patience, because Republic City didn't have time for that! But as long as she didn't know how to use all of the elements, she was a half baked Avatar, and that was frustrating enough. With the place she was supposed to protect in danger, it was becoming increasingly easier to admit defeat with all the negativity going around.

"No, that's nonsense! You're amazing!" The other female's voice cut in, causing the Avatar to look up in a bit of shock. Asami had been so... distant. She never really seemed to like Korra, but it wasn't as if she hated her either. She was always just polite and kind, Korra figured because she was Mako's friend, so hearing the young woman give her any sort of praise was quite a surprise. "You're not alone. You've got us to help you, through thick and thin, and we're going to be here for you, even after Republic City is safe again. Even Aang needed help."

"We've got your back, Korra. We can save this city, together." Mako reassured, giving a brief nod to reinforce his words before extending a hand out to her. "Now come on and get up. We can't save the city if you're sitting here."

Reluctantly, and a bit out of embarrassment, Korra grabbed the hand and pulled herself up. Yeah. What did she have to worry for? She did have friends to help her out. "Right! Now let's do this!-- Only one question, though. Where the heck is Bolin?"

Taking dialogue from the show and totally embellishing it/putting it in different context. Yeah. That's what I did.

One of my favorite shots from the shoot we did at Anime Matsuri, 'cause we look super casual and like this would actually happen in the show. Minus Bolin not derpin' around, but who knows where he went. We had a lot of fun goofing around, though, and kind of just going with the flow. You can actually see my Equalist glove here, which is awesome, but not complete! xD The shoot was tons of fun regardless, and I probably made a few more zapping jokes than I should have, but all's good!
