+Jack Frost - Looking Out Ahead

Eee. One of my first dabbles in self photography, as my trusty friend photographer who helps me with these impromptu shoots was busy today, and I'd been meaning to test out my skills with just a tripod. :3 Definitely a fun experience, and I'd like to do some more shoots like this one when I'm cosplaying lesser known characters and am not in a park full of children.

So yeah, I jumped on the bandwagon of Jack Frost cosplayers, and decided to give what everybody else had been deeming a simple cosplay a go. (Helps that I related to Jack a lot in the "being invisible" way, though, or else I'd have been Toothiana.)

Construction Notes:
Wig - I actually used a Benny from Arda in Silver for this. In doing so, they have quickly become my favorite short wig, because I swear they're like mini-Jareths when you straighten them out. Didn't have to add any wefts in at all!
Hoodie - Dyed a white one to get the color, took a while to paint everything on. I might be doing another one soon to try a different method of painting and see how it turns out. xD
Pants - Bought the base from JcPenney as a pair of faux leather skinny jeans. From there, I tore up the bottom hem, watered down some white and blue paint, and splattered it all over 'em with one of those bath poofballs. The straps are tacked on swimsuit elastic that were sharpied brown.
Staff - It's made out of PVC Pipe, and is a little over 6 feet tall. Made it where it could break into three pieces, covered it in painter's tape, and spray painted everything a textured brown before going back to detail the frost on with a make-up sponge.
